Last heard from in 2019 with the release of their third album Find Light, New Jersey indie trio Cold Weather Company return today with ‘Golden Hour’. We’re premiering the video for the lead track from their Coalescence, Pt. 1 EP, which is due out tomorrow. You can have a look and listen to that below. A widescreen full-band folk song, it also serves as the lead single from their next chapter.
Singer and pianist Steve Shimchick says of the clip that it ‘is an ode to our community for their determination throughout the pandemic, as well as an opportunity to recognize our luck and privilege to connect with each other virtually when other options are limited.’ The 3-track EP also signposts the release of their forthcoming fourth album, Coalescence.
