Ladies and gentlemen, we are in for a treat. Let me introduce to you Let Man Loose: this four-piece rock band hailing from Hull have the City of Culture surging in their veins, and they’re about to prove it with the release of their latest single ‘Shotgun Good Fun’.

The rough, unpolished edge to the instrumental, accentuated with smooth vocals saturated in irresistible Northern character make Let Man Loose a band to be reckoned with. As a listener, there is something about ‘Shotgun Good Fun’ that’s as dangerous and as exhilarating as letting go of the steering wheel. Queens of The Stone Age, Wolfmother, Arctic Monkeys: they’re all there but twisted into a beast of its own kind. The intensity and immediacy of its pace, paired with the hedonistic, thrill-seeking lyrics give an incredible first flavour of their EP ‘Vol.1’ to be released in December.

So don’t hesitate – listen now or forever be in ignore of one of the most exciting Northern rock bands I’ve come across in a while.

Or, of course, don’t just take my word for it. See the real article here for yourselves:
