San Diego band Psychic Graveyard have been suspiciously quiet for about a year and a half since releasing a previous standalone single called ‘Haunted By Your Bloodline‘, itself released a little over a year since the quartet’s third album, Veins Feel Strange. That period of downtime ends today in emphatic fashion: they’re back, and god help anyone who gets in their way.
The noise-rockers have a whole new album ready to go in a few months, and the lead single proper is a ripper about the rough and tumble nature of being in a band like this. It’s called ‘Your Smile is a Hoax’, and of it, the band says: “[I]t fills in the listener on some of our experiences as an afflicted band in today’s world, traveling all over the place while we’re wounded, but somehow having a blast while we’re out there—bleeding everywhere.”
