Afrobeats riser Sean Dampte is joined by Ghetto Boy to drop their scintillating new track, ‘Go Low’, and we’re lucky enough to be premiering the new video!

‘Go Low’ opens with a captivating blend of bouncy percussion and a gently repeating piano line, instantly transporting you to a sultry summer night where the vibes are just right. Both Sean Dampte and Ghetto Boy bring their A-game, infusing the track with a flirtatious and confident energy that perfectly complements the laid-back atmosphere. There’s no need for high-energy flows or intricate lyricism here – they effortlessly catch the vibe and deliver it flawlessly.

Speaking about the track, Ghetto Boy shares his inspiration: “I always like to make music reflecting on what I’m going through at that moment and experience. Sometimes what me and my boys talk about drives my inspiration. You don’t need to be the noisy one in the room. Nice and slow, steady wins your lover’s heart.”

Ghetto Boy, a Grammy Award Winner, has been a prominent figure in the Afrobeats scene, steadily climbing the ladder of recognition since the release of his debut EP, ‘Anointed,’ in 2017. His tracks have amassed over a million streams across platforms, and his journey has taken him to stages around the world, from headlining shows in Germany to sharing the spotlight with Mr. Eazi in Sweden and embarking on a European tour in 2018.

Sean Dampte, a versatile singer, songwriter, and performer, started his musical journey as a chorister in Lagos, Nigeria, before making a name for himself as an Afro-Pop artist in London. With a resume that includes sharing the stage with artists like D’banj, Banky W, 2Face, and Wizkid as early as 2010, Sean Dampte is a seasoned performer ready to take the world by storm.

Both Ghetto Boy and Sean Dampte are making waves in the flourishing Afrobeats scene, and their collaboration on ‘Go Low’ is a testament to the genre’s incredible potential – a celebration of the captivating sounds that continue to warm the hearts and move the bodies of fans worldwide.

A danceable, commercially viable and naturally infectious single, ‘Go Low’ delivers a sizzling Afrobeats banger which is sure to delight fans old and new.
