We’re delighted to premiere the new track from French synth-pop maestro Woodini, Antidote, taken from his self-released debut album ‘113’, due out on May 11th. The rising star of the Parisian underground scene has already turned heads with his three previous EP’s and has drafted in Young Lust to contribute on this new track, adding his smoky vocals to the mix.
Driven along by this hard edged synth line, and little splashes of piano, it’s a laid back and melancholy electronic soul track. Smatterings of vocal cut-ups intersperse the emotive vocals, and repeated listens reveal further synth and guitar lines that wash over you. It’s beautiful stuff.
