The collaboration between Captcha Records and Cardinal Fuzz seems to be going from strength to strength this year with the simultaneous announcement of no less than five new albums, all of which have been reviewed here on Backseat Mafia/ Psych Insight (click the album titles for links). Three of the new releases are re-pressings of great albums that are difficult to come by from two bands that have achieved cult status:
‘Dreamtime‘ and ‘Sun‘ by Australian psych band Dreamtime
‘Born To Deal In Magic 1952-1976‘ by Canadian psych/ garage band Shooting Guns.
In addition there are two first time releases:
‘Spectral Laudromat‘, an outstanding album of jams from Shooting Guns
”Forever Driftin’‘, the debut full-length from Chicago post punk/ garage duo Foul Tip.
All five albums are available to pre-order from Cardinal Fuzz and Captcha Records from 29th January 2016, and are due to be released on 11th March.
