Brought up on the music of The Velvet Underground, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave and Patti Smith, Poppy of Art School Girlfriend draws us in to her Margate surroundings with the intriguing video, ‘Measures’ directed by the French 3D artist, Kevin Bray. Haunting vocals coupled with the 3D rendering of Margate’s coastline provide us with an atmospheric and beautiful track. Poppy is the most recent addition to the label of Paul Epworth, Wolf Tone and recorded her EP at ‘The Church’ studios in London.
