Pop punk titans Bowling For Soup are back with their first single of 2021, Getting Old Sucks (But Everybody’s Doing It).

Featuring adorable puppet versions of themselves going through the trials and tribulations of aging, the band are proving why they’ve remained an ever present force in the pop punk world over the years. Tongue in cheek, self deprecating and pure childish fun; they’re truly the guys that will never fully grow up and that’s the best thing about them.

Speaking on the song, frontman Jaret Reddick states:

“I’ve had the tag line / title of this song for a really long time. I just couldn’t quite get the right vibe or mindset to write it. Oddly enough, it took Rob (Felicetti), the young guy in the band, sending me some music that needed lyrics and a little massaging…and here we are!

I also need to note that the puppets in the video were made by a teenage girl and her family made the video for us! It’s so perfect!”

As well as the new single, Bowling For Soup await their long live return to the UK. Supported by Lit and The Dollyrots, the band will tour the UK in April 2022. Check out the dates and get tickets here!
