Canadian duo Ducks Ltd. probably don’t even need an introduction, after their debut Ep was featured on all major music magazines. Their jangle-pop is one of the most precise and driven out there (maybe only Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever can be compared), full of riveting riffs and the genre-characteristic rhythms.
Now they are about to present their debut LP, out on October 1st on Carpark Records, and “How Lonely Are You?” is the second single from the album, after “18 Cigarettes”. A soaring chord progression makes its spectacular entrance in the song, which proceeds in the seemingly unstoppable fashion that is typical of the band.
The band is also known for the consistency of their songwriting, so it can be reasonably expected from the album to be a pretty compelling collection of songs. The band has also announced a string of UK dates for early 2022:
