Taken form their forthcoming album The Weather, out on May 5th via Marathon Artists, Australian psyche-pop quartet Pond have released a new video for current single ‘Sweep me off my feet’, and announced a run of UK and European tour dates over May and June. As with its predecessor ‘Man it feels like space again’, the record was produced by Kevin Parker in his studio in Perth and is filled with ambitious, vibrant pop music.
‘Sweep Me off my Feet’ is one of those ambitious, vibrant tracks. Full of chimes, woozy bass synths and wonky, blurred accompaniments, it has a melody like a comfort blanket – you want to curl up with it, and never let go of it. Luckily, its that infectious that you probably won’t have to.
