We know all about Irish four piece The Riptide Movement, after they did an exclusive session for us earlier in the year. If you didn’t know, they are something of a big deal in their home country, recently having their album Getting Through nominated at the Meteor Choice Music Prize – Ireland’s answer to the Mercury’s, and scored an Irish top ten hit with ‘All Works Out’.
The band have a new single, Animal, coming out via Caroline International on November 13th. Its a lilting indie rock number, with the acoutic guitars adding a little bit of a folky shuffle, and the boys always managing to communicate their music with a twinkle in their Irish eyes.
Continuing what’s already been an incredible 2015 for Irish sensations The Riptide Movement, the four-piece have just revealed the video for their new single ‘Animal’, which will be released on November 13th through Caroline International. There’s little slithers of organ, and its given this fruity colour by the presence of the brass. As always with The Riptide Movement, there’s always parts of songs where you almost feel compelled to sing along with the boys.
