Following on from the news that The Staves will release their third album on 5th February 2021, the band have just released a very special live version of the title track, ‘Good Woman’.
Of the live version, the girls say, “Here’s the live video for Good Woman. Shot at home in London in beautiful Sunbeam Studios and directed by the wonderful Olivia Eames. We’d like to thank our amazing band, Glyn, Marcus, Chris and Rob, and all the crew involved for making this shoot possible whilst observing social distancing rules and keeping all of us super safe.
Full of smart folk pop and beautiful harmonies, Good Woman shows the girls have lost none of their songwriting chops over the past few months, with airey, swooping melodies, and swooning vocals that you cannot help falling for. The live version merely shows the girls can reproduce it at will.
