LA-via-Australia based duo Vowws have announced a new album Under the World is to be released on March 2nd via their own Anti-Language Records. They’ve returned to work with friend, mentor and engineer Kevin S. McMahon at his New Paltz, NY studio – building upon a symbiotic relationship formed while piecing together their debut, 2015’s The Great Sun, and Forget your Finery – the first single to be taken from the record, shows it was a productive partnership once again.
It draws the bands desperate influences together moulding goth, industrial, electronica, metal into a dark and brooding post-punk track, that blends wiry, visceral guitar lines with this motorik beat and chiming snatches of synth underneath the insistent vocal.
