Nottingham quartet We are Carnivores, aka Harry Christopher on Vocals and Guitar, Alex Gower on Bass, guitarist James Pickersgill and drummer Beu Smith have released a new single, T.O.W.I.C.S – complete with video that they can make Enter Shikari/Reuben like rock music, without taking themselves too (read: at all) seriously. Its taken from their upcoming EP Tex-Mexiconomy, out on November 10th.

It’s driving rock, intersperced with these searing guitar interjections, but melodic as well, full of harmonies in the mix, alongside the wiry, angular guitar lines, crashing drums and liberally spread electronics. As it progressed though, so these moments of introspection are added, albeit brief ones, until its glorious conclusion.
