With their sixth album, Megaplex, arriving at the end of April, We are Scientists have just revealed a new video for ‘Your Light Has Changed. It’s a thunderous thing of beauty, with the razor sharp guitar lines of the verse giving way to these huge swathes of riff in the chorus. It got just the tunes to have you bouncing up and down at your nearesrt venue/festival this year, so get you moshing shoes on.
The video sees the band mysteriously infect the unsuspecting public by musical osmosis (or something equally as strange) and features a distribution system as arbitrary and unconcerned as the guy that delivers my amazon parcels. Keith from the band explains
“The world of music marketing is awash in breathless, overblown verbiage. We figured that at long as people are going to keep describing our music as ‘infectious’; we might as well give them a literal justification for that usage, with the video.”
