Guilford rockers 2far2jump have released their new single, ‘Shadows’, the first of five brand-new singles by the band.
The band state:
Shadows is a song that narrates through some of the feelings of depression and how it can take ahold and keep you feeling stuck in place even when you try to do something about it. How it can leave you feeling numb, hollow and trapped and result in you hiding how you feel from those closest to you. The song calls out depression’s cyclical nature and how sometimes it feels as though the more you try to ‘get better’, the worse you end up feeling when it doesn’t work. Ultimately, we hope Shadows can provide a catharsis for anyone feeling these feelings, and serve as a gentle reminder that no one going through these experiences is alone — plenty of us have been there too, and we see you.
Anthemic music, emotional vocals, and an alternative rock package that hits hard. The band deliver a captivating performance on a track that is packed with soring heroic elements, impeccable guitar work, and vocals that pack a powerful punch.
