BABYMETAL have released their latest single Kon! Kon!, a collaborative effort with Indian metal outfit Bloodywood. It’s the fifth track lifted from their forthcoming album METAL FORTH, due August 8 via Capitol Records.

The track arrives alongside a live video, filmed during their recent performance at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. The clip captures the onstage chemistry between the two acts, who are currently co-headlining one of the biggest North American metal tours of the year.

Formed in 2010, BABYMETAL’s blend of heavy riffs, choreography, and pop vocals has helped them stand apart in a crowded genre. From their early days opening for acts like Korn and Lady Gaga to their current position as international headliners, the band – led by SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL – continues to challenge the definition of metal.

The new album, METAL FORTH, promises more genre-defying collaborations, featuring guests like Poppy, Spiritbox, Tom Morello, Electric Callboy, Polyphia, and Slaughter to Prevail – many of whom have toured with the group or shared a stage across various continents.

Previous singles RATATATA (with Electric Callboy), from me to u (feat. Poppy), and Song 3 (with Slaughter to Prevail) are already available to stream.

The band’s 24-date North American tour has already touched down in cities like Atlanta, Toronto and Chicago, and will continue through San Francisco, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. A newly announced date at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on November 1 will mark BABYMETAL’s biggest US headline show to date.
