Bright sparkling power punk pop outfit Bakers Eddy have just released an energetic hyperactive single ‘T-Shirt’ on the eve of an extensive Australian tour. Originating from Wellington, New Zealand, the band now resides in Melbourne and have been developing quite a reputation for their live shows.

‘T-Shirt’ is a raucous bundle of fun, tinged antithetically with a hint of melancholia that provides a unique counter point. Lead singer Ciarann Babbington says of the song:

I wrote the song after a long-distance relationship came to an end. I was in the middle of that messy period where all you do is think of this person and you seem to forget why you fell apart. It’s me dealing with regret and trying to make sense of all these feelings and emotions.
