Canadian metal heavyweights, Cancer Bats, have released the official music video for lead single “Deathsmarch To A New Acoustic Beat” featuring Nick Sherman. The track is taken from their new EP ‘You’ll Never Break Us: Separation Sessions Vol 1’ which is out now.
Regarding the track Cormier comments,
“With the end of 2020 just around the corner, the optimistic lyrics to “Deathsmarch” seem to ring truer now than when first shouted in 2008, “Hey World You’ll Never Break Us, try your hardest, try your hardest.”
There’s something about a metal band going acoustic. There’s a dark menace to the music on this track. The vocals have a sense of hope but that slight thrumming of evil sits there in the background grinding out the rhythm to this cool metal track. A sign that the guys have created a bit of a special EP.
