Melbourne-based power punk trio, Clamm have released a new track, ‘Something New’ off their upcoming album ‘Care’, which will be out on clear vinyl LP and digital via Chapter Music on 19 August.

“Something New is a song about searching or yearning. It is about impatience and time, and its title refers to the process of facing seemingly new stimuli throughout life.”

Jack Summers

‘Something New’ has been released with an accompanying video on which Clamm collaborated with Oscar O’Shea. The new track features the band’s trademark onslaught of buzzing guitars and cathartic lyrics cementing their reputation as band with a message.

First singles Bit Much and Monday came out in April and June. They have been playlisted on Double J and Unearthed, on community radio, had BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, KEXP and Apple Music airplay and press from NME, Paste, Raven Sings the Blues and elsewhere. CLAMM were Spotlight Artist on Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6 Music show earlier this month.

The band has played with Wolf Alice, Amyl & the Sniffers, the Chats, Civic and the Murlocs, and played Boogie, Melbourne Music Week and Meadow. CLAMM will tour UK/Europe in Aug/Sep, and Australia in Sep/Oct.
