The new single lands a few weeks after a standout performance on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage—described by many as a breakthrough moment—and arrives alongside news that CMAT has been named one of BBC Radio 6 Music’s upcoming Artists in Residence.
Following 2023’s Crazymad, For Me, which earned her BRIT and Mercury Prize nominations and saw her win the Choice Music Prize in Ireland, EURO-COUNTRY marks another confident step from the Dublin-born singer. Though only her third LP, CMAT’s presence feels firmly embedded across music, culture, and late-night TV alike, with appearances on Later… with Jools Holland, Hootenanny, and The Graham Norton Show, she also visited Australia earlier this year.
Known for her mix of alt-country, humour, and sharply written pop, CMAT’s latest work reflects a more expansive sound and worldview. The upcoming headline tour, including her first arena show in Dublin, is already sold out, while early 2025 will see her join Sam Fender on tour and appear at Primavera and NOS Alive.
EURO-COUNTRY continues the story of an artist who, across three albums, has steadily built a devoted following and carved out her own lane—playful, smart, and unafraid to go big.
