Swiss band Coilguns have shared the video/single ‘Generic Skincare’. Along with the single news the band have also announced the release of their new album ‘Odd Love’, which is due out on 22 November 2024 via Humus records. Composed, arranged and produced by the band, the album was recorded by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City, Thrice) in the Ocean Sounds studio, Giske (Norway), mixed by Tom Dalgety (The Pixies, Ghost, Royal Blood) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (Liam Gallagher, The Gaslight Anthem).
Containing the chaotic element of the previous track, ‘We Missed The Parade, ‘Generic Skincare features a deluge of grunge-up drums and bass, string-tripping guitars, and bellowing vocals. It’s mind-scrabblingly coherent and as loud as hell—pure escapism in raw punk noise.
