After delighting us with his previous singles ‘Fun’, ‘From 7th Street With Love’ and ‘Here Comes My Baby’, Coyle Girelli has now shared the fourth single taken from his new album Funland with ‘Do You Wanna Dance?’ Funland is due 25th February via Honey Lemon Records.
“This one was one of the first songs I wrote for ‘Funland’,”
states Girelli.
“To me, it has the energy of a caged animal, as that is how I felt in the early days of lockdown, kind of bouncing off the walls! It felt good to write and live in this moment, and I’ve loved playing it live since I finished the album. I imagine this scene in a Studio 54-esque place, just escaping with somebody somewhere to get up to no good.”
‘Do You Wanna Dance?’ shows once again what a talented songwriter Girelli is. A country twang to the guitar and an upbeat rhythm ‘Do You Wanna Dance?’ is a an infectious full bodied track decorated with that glorious voice.
