With their North American tour looming and the release of Danse Macabre – De Luxe just around the corner, Duran Duran have dropped a surprise—a shimmering, swagger-filled cover of ELO’s “Evil Woman.”

It’s a bold move, taking a 1975 classic and drenching it in the glitz of their own synth-driven, disco-rock style. The track is unmistakably Duran Duran—full of glossy production and slick musicianship, with Dom Brown’s sharp guitar licks weaving through a mesh of pulsing strings and electric synths. Simon Le Bon’s vocals glide effortlessly over it all, adding just the right balance of drama and sensuality. The band manages to keep the essence of the original while making it distinctly their own—a testament to their ability to continually reinvent and electrify even after decades in the game.

A year after the haunting, neon-lit Danse Macabre turned heads, Duran Duran are back with the Deluxe edition, offering an expanded view of their latest era. Set for digital release on 11 October and CD on 25 October. The Deluxe edition brings three new tracks into the fold, deepening the album’s dark, theatrical atmosphere. There’s ‘Evil Woman,’ ‘New Moon (Dark Phase),’ a shadowy, hypnotic track and an instrumental cut, ‘Masque of the Pink Death,’ an eerie, cinematic soundscape that pulls you deeper into Danse Macabre’s gothic world.

DANSE MACABRE – DE LUXE album is out digitally on 11 October with DE LUXE CD & VINYL BOX SET out 25 October. Pre-order/Save HERE.

Duran Duran have also announced a short North American east-coast run, set to begin on 21 October, bringing the legendary, award-winning four-piece to Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland and New Hampshire.
