Post-punks Egyptian Blue are preparing for the launch of their debut EP ‘Collateral Damage’ which drops on June 21st via Yala Records, and ahead of it they’ve released one of the tracks from the EP, Contain It.#
It’s stuttering, edgy post punk, that loosens itself up from its opening 7-time gambit that gives it this unnerving feeling to a more standard time when it hits the chorus. Sheads of the likes of Gang of Four (well, early Gang of Four) as well as the likes of Foals abound, but these boys have their own voice, and its one that is going to be heard.
