Barnsley five piece Heavy Suns take the blueprint laid down (or at least honed) by the Rolling Stones and Lez Zeppelin, and stirred in a healthy dose of the shoeegaze/psych for their new single Hide. It’s has this rawness about it, swathes of guitar noise and this motorik bass sound underneath everything. It also has the swagger and sneer or a band who know they can pull you in with their melodies, infectious chorus’ and scuffed at the edges guitar solos. And they did.
