Track: Jesse Will Unveils Stirring New Single ‘Puddles’

Following a string of critical acclaim and a growing international fanbase, Jesse Will returns with the intimate new single ‘Puddles’.

An emotive and warming soundscape of piano, reverb drenched percussion and gradually growing backdrop, strings and deep bass. Emotionally-charged through its cinematic arrangement and heartfelt, considered vocal performance the track is comparable to the likes of RHODES and Amber Run. In fact, produced by James Kenosha who is known for his work with Rhodes and Birdy, ‘Puddles’ captures the same emotional weight and feel of RHODES 2015 album Wishes.

Speaking about the single, Jesse adds: “Puddles is about surrendering and accepting impermanence. It explores recovery and the resilience that trauma leaves us with. I was inspired by the life cycle of water, how water is evaporated, and eventually returns to where it was, yet somehow purified from the experience.”

That theme of transformation courses through the track’s emotive textures. While the arrangement is spare, the impact is profound: thunderous undertones anchor the piece, echoing the weight of its subject matter while elevating its intimate lyricism. Will’s ability to fuse simplicity with depth makes ‘Puddles’ a masterclass in restrained, soulful songwriting.

Now based in London and with growing acclaim across major outlets, Jesse Will continues to craft music that resonates across borders and emotions as he readies more new music for release.
