Out on May 22nd via the ever brilliant Full Time Hobby label is the new album, titled Consummation, from NYC guitarist and songwriter Katie Von Schleicher. From it, she’s just shared a new track, Brutality, available for streaming right now. It comes off the back of her recent singles ‘Wheel’, ‘Caged Sleep’ and ‘Nowhere’.
Slow and stately, brutality is a mash up of her soft, occasionally soaring vocal and this slashy guitar line, that acts like the sour to contradict the sweet, as the melody has this innate beauty about it.
