Ahead of their UK headline shows taking place this month, North London five-piece, Kawala have shared their third single of 2024, the irresistibly addictive ‘Time Slipping Away’. Spotlighting the struggles faced to over-achieve and stay on track, ‘Time Slipping Away’, with its energetic and vibrant sonics, act as reassurance to keep afloat amid the tough times thrown your way.
“We’ve had many setbacks, and it’s always easy to get a bit negative and find things difficult,” explains guitarist Daniel McCarthy. “’Time Slipping Away’ has a positive sonic – it’s exciting, punchy, and self-motivating for us, while still being relatable for other people.” Vocalist Jim Higson continues: “Things might not be okay, but at the end of the day, there’s always a flip side to the coin.”
Guitar led dreamy summer pop thats gorgeous and infectious in equal measure. It’s all upbeat and happy, which, let’s be honest, is what’s needed at the moment. Let Kawala be the soundtrack of your summer, and it will be sunshine all around.
