Mary In The Junkyard have shared new track ‘Bear Walk’, their final song of 2024 that rounds off a momentous year for the trio, one that has seen them develop into one of the UK’s most exciting new bands. The track is a companion to the recently released ‘This Is My California‘.

“Bear Walk is the story of someone trying to make their lover stay with them in their feral lifestyle. It is about the push and pull between wildness and conventionality, and was born from us playing some acoustic gigs over the summer.”
Folky, honey-sweet deliciousness delivered from one of the most exciting new bands to come for some time. Perfectly formed Saya Barbaglia delights with her heart-wrenching violin playing that gives a gritty balance to Clari-Freeman Taylor vocals sitting on a bed of drummer David Addison’s gentle shuffle. Mary In The Junkyard have no right to be this good.
