After releasing their album ‘The Mutiny’ last year on InsideOutMusic/Sony Music, (read our review here) Molybaron are currently working on a new album and touring activities for 2023. Until then they have shared their new single ‘Vampires’
Singer Gary Kelly says this about the song:
“I’m delighted to announce the release of our new track and music video for ‘Vampires’. The pandemic caused a warped sense of time for all of us and it really feels like an eternity since our last release… but finally, we’re back.
“Vampires is a fast-paced, energetic track that embodies what I believe are the best elements of Molybaron – melody, big guitar riffs, pumping bass. We can’t wait to play it live!”
Starting with Kelly’s recognisable vocals and bursts of synths beofre the band enter on the edgy and concrete heavy chorus packed with driving chords and Kelly’s phenomenal vocals. The track takes a little breather with the bass taking up the lead line as the track builds up to an explosive chorus keeping the suspense going. It’s good to have Molybaron back.
