Nada Surf are a bit of an indie institution and are on the brink of releasing their ninth album, ‘Never Not Together’ on 7 February 2020. ‘So Much Love’ is the third single released in anticipation of the album and it encapsulates the Nada Surf sound and philosophy: bright sparkling joyous music that is infused with optimism, inclusivity and hope: a panacea for the times.

Singer, Matthew Corrs says of the track:

It’s a song that celebrates good will between people. Sometimes it can be hard to remember that it’s there. but it’s all around us. Small things add up. a little tolerance and acceptance can be built on. we’re good at love and being kind. it comes naturally to us, but so do other things. You just have to keep looking for the right way to lean, it’s worth everything.

A beautiful sentiment for a beautiful song with its layered harmonies, jangling guitars and lush instrumentation. Utterly enthralling.

Nadia Surf will embark on an international tour beginning in February, covering northern America and Europe, with a hint that a welcomed trip south to Australia may be on the cards. Full details here. You can preorder the album here and get the first three singles through the link below.
