The faceless enigma that is Sleep Token has spoken—‘Even In Arcadia’, the UK outfit’s fourth full-length record and their first under RCA Records / Sony Music Australia, is set to arrive May 9th. This next chapter follows 2023’s ‘Take Me Back to Eden’, an album that solidified their status as one of the most captivating, genre-defying acts in modern metal.

The release of ‘Even In Arcadia’ is another passage in Sleep Token’s ever-unfolding sonic scripture. Known for seamlessly fusing crushing metal breakdowns, haunting melodies, and electronic flourishes, the band continues to stretch the boundaries of sound and emotion into something entirely otherworldly.

Ahead of the album launch, the band has released a new track, Emergence.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Sleep Token will ascend to their biggest stage yet, headlining Download Festival on June 13th, where they’ll bring their mesmerising ritual to thousands of devoted followers.

Formed in London in 2016, the band’s members remain shrouded in secrecy, masked and anonymous, with the enigmatic Vessel leading the charge as vocalist and songwriter. The only other officially credited member, known as II, has co-written and performed across their studio records, adding another layer to their cryptic mystique.

With ‘Even In Arcadia’, Sleep Token continues to challenge perceptions, bending metal into something both intimate and ethereal, both brutal and divine. The question isn’t whether this new offering will push boundaries—it’s how far Sleep Token will go this time.
