Finnish Death Doom Masters Swallow The Sun have shared their new single, ‘Innocence Was Long Forgotten’. Produced and mixed by Dan Lancaster (Bring Me the Horizon, Muse, Enter Shikari, etc.), Tony Lindgren mastered it (Fascination Street Studios), and Juho Räihä recorded it at SoundSpiral Audio.
The band comments on the new single:
“All the new Swallow The Sun music felt like an ice dagger through a sleeping heart. So we wanted to work with a powerful producer, Dan Lancaster, to push this dagger even deeper into this heart of ours.”
A masterpiece from start to finish, with epic guitar work, powerful drumming, and superb vocals. The production is spot on, and the band have given us a truly awesome-sounding track from the first note to the last.
