TIFFY, aka songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer Tiffany Sammy is greasing up to the release of her new 7” single – out on June 19th through Dollhouse Lightning (IF there’s still any of the hyper limited edition of 25 left), and she’s donating 100% of vinyl and digital sales and 50% of cassette sales over the next week to Reclaim The Block and Black Visions Collective. From it comes the single;s A-side ‘Don’t Wanna Talk’.
It’s this thing of beauty, a slacker dream pop anthem, with just enough attitude and edgy guitar to keep it from falling into indie landfill. Add in this off kilter synth line and sprawling, almost melodic bassline and you’re onto a winner.
