As the project of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Noah Shaner, Twilight Lounge has been making a name for himself amongst the alternative music scene since his 2021 debut ‘Have You Seen The Roses When They Bloom?’. Boasting a sound that defies the lines of genres, fusing together influences across alternative rock, psychedelia, indie, shoegaze, and grunge, the LA-based artist continues to develop a dynamic melting pot of sonic ideas.

With his latest EP ‘Does It Make Sense Yet?’, Twilight Lounge further hones his shape-shifting sound. As the focus single to be lifted from the body of work, ‘Nothing Never Ends’ places indie psychedelia at the forefront as the multi-hyphenate navigates existential questions under the lens of falling in love. Characterized by his signature guitar-driven approach to production, it’s a sound that is both developed from previous offerings and offers a natural bridge to new work.

While early recordings took place in Noah’s hometown of Alabama, the track was brought to life following him uprooting to LA. Expanding on its inspiration, he says “On one level, ‘Nothing Never Ends’ is a love letter. On another level, it’s a track about realizing that you have the ability to change your life. Nothing changes unless you change something.” Introspective and emotionally aware, it allows Twilight Lounge’s natural affinity for songwriting to shine through, propelled forward by an undercurrent of jangly riffs, hazy synths, and rumbling drumlines.

‘Nothing Never Ends’ arrives alongside Twilight Lounge’s new EP ‘Does It Make Sense Yet?’. The four-track project follows on from May’s single ‘Play The Game’ and develops his unique vision, laden with rich instrumental textures and thought-provoking insights. As the first body of work since his 2023 self-titled EP, it sees Twilight Lounge mark the entrance to a new era for his artistry.
