See: Amber Run reveal new video for Pilot

Amber Run have done something unique; their latest music video ‘Pilot’ continues the story from their previous release ‘I Found’, a poignant video that delves deep into your heart and into your mind.

The video to ‘I Found’ tells the story of an unfortunate girl becoming the victim of kidnap, and the regret the young criminal feels once the deed is done. His accomplice is not so remorseful, and soon the younger two are running away from the unforgiving abductor. This story continues with ‘Pilot’, the title track in Amber Run’s brand new EP.

‘Pilot’ starts with more energy; the time to lament is behind us and it’s time to fight. The drums push this song forward and we experience Amber Run’s usual exhilarant style with passionate vocals and rousing melodies. In the video we see the conclusions to the unanswered questions ‘I Found’ posed to us; the young kidnapper runs away with his victim and chooses to save her, but in doing so leaves himself vulnerable to his ex-accomplice. Not every story has a happy ever after, and this one leaves you wondering.

“I don’t want to be the centre of anything, just a part of something bigger” are words sung passionately and confidently; this song will be an incredible one to witness live. (Just wait until the crowds are singing it back to you.)

‘Pilot’ and ‘I Found’ merely highlight the diverse talent that Amber Run hold; they’ve perfected a variety of styles and seem to have a song for every mood. Not many bands can do that.

We reviewed ‘I Found’ here. Watch the video to ‘Pilot’ below:
