We’ve been loving London psych-upstarts for sometime now, so we are very excited to premiere the video for ‘Éternité’, the lead single from the drummer of Gentlemen, Geno Carrapetta., He has a new solo record coming out next month, and it shows on his own he’s able to create this rippling, slow-moving piece of cinematic psych/post rock
The track wraps itself around your consciousness, driven by this urgent drumming, but blurred with this electronic hue, and whispered vocals. The lines of guitar intensify and slither throughout the song to moving effect, and its all accompanied by an atmospheric video.
Privé, Geno’s new album, is out in April. On this evidence, it could be one of the records of the year.
