Jordan Rakei’s final date of his European/UK tour at 02 Brixton Academy was predestined to be memorable. His finely tuned and exceptionally talented band was augmented with a string quartet, 5 backing singers and extra percussion!

Support was from 2 excellent singer-songwriters Ruti and Olivia Dean, both already with big fanbases.
Jordan frequently brings in some of his collaborators over the years to his shows…..tonight was a gold mine with Loyle Carner, Alfamist, Tom Misch and Barney Artist joining him on stage for their respective
numbers.

His show was brilliantly illuminated with a stunning light show and his new arrangements of some of the songs were transformative in every way possible. Huge sounds for a completely dedicated & rapturous  Academy audience.  Over the last 7 years Jordan has really established himself as a truly multi-faceted artist, giving much back to his fans through his Patreon programme, as well as some class albums & collaborations.
