Up first were local band ‘Leave Your Body Behind’ these guys seemed more than comfortable opening for the Crumpets, with lots of interaction with the crowd. Its always good to see a local band supporting more established artists, and I don’t think it’ll be too long before these guys are supporting more acts on their tours.

Following a brief interval Brighton based GENN. These girls know how to rock, opening with the just the 3 ladies on stage before lead singer Leona joined them on stage to work through a powerful thirty minute set.

Go check out the single – ‘A Reprise (That Girl)’

Following on from this show with the Porn Crumpets GENN embark on some European dates in support of Cleopatrick before heading out on their own tour which see’s them 6 shows throughout June

Following a quick stage clearance, the lights go down and the familiar sound of ‘Nessun Dorma’ rings through the o2 Academy prompting a sing-a-long with the Leicester crowd belting out their inner Pavarotti before the Crumpets hit the stage, ramping up the atmosphere before heading straight into ‘Bill’s Mandolin’ from 2019 album ‘And Now For The Whatchamacallit’

This was a show of lots of new material and live debuts including latest single ‘Nootmare(K-I-L-L-I-n-G) Meow!,’ ‘Dilemma us from Evil,’ ‘I’m a Kadavar (Alakazam)’
