When things fall apart is the new single from Brooklyn’s Augustines, and is taken from their forthcoming This Is Your Life LP, the bands first new material since their self-titled debut, which dropped in in 2014. The band recorded the album with Joe Chiccarelli and Peter Katis at studios in New York and Los Angeles.
Part arena rock, part indie sensibility, part the simple minds synth tinged sense of the epic, When things fall apart see’s the band step up to the expectation, and firmly poke it in the eye. Driving drums, whiffs of synths and a chorus that kicks you firmly in the shins if you try and ignore it all heightens the anticipation for the new album.
