Legendary punk band Ruts DC have announced a run of tour dates across the UK in October, including a night at the Jazz Cafe in London. Now consisting of two of the original members Segs Jennings and Dave Ruffy, along with Leigh Heggarty to excel on guitar.
With an extensive back catalogue from their original first wave of punk day, which spawned classic singles ‘In a Rut’, ‘Babylon’s Burning’ and ‘Staring at the Rude Boys’, it also the tragic loss of frontman Malcolm Owen from a Heroin overdose, through to the most recent album, 2013’s Rhythm Collision Vol.2 recorded with Neil “Mad Professor” Fraser, and mixed in Brighton by Mike “Prince Fatty” Pelanconi.
There’s new music from the band as well, including the ‘Psychic Attack’, after which the tour is named.
