The ever-busy Titeknots is back with a new single, All Talk / So Natural, which drops on August 4th via Tru Thoughts. It follows two other singles this year alone, which have drawn admiring glances from the likes of Tensnake to DJ Zinc, and radio support from the likes of Lauren Laverne.
All Talk is a fresh, jazzy take on Piano House, the piano lines moving in homogonous ways, while over the top the strings sweep over gracefully persuading even the most retiscent onto the dancefloor. It switches to this gloopy synth line as the vocal samples lead the track through the dark before emerging once again in the cool light of day. Its something special.
So Natural is once again led out by the Piano, this time laying down this funky bassline, as the synths go to work building house figures over the top of it, and little electronic effects travel by on the way. As with All Talk, there’s some classic house traits, a la Armand Van Helden and Kenny Dope at work here.
Yeah, its that good.
