News: AC/DC announce long-awaited Australian tour for 2025: Thunderstruck returns home

It’s official: AC/DC are coming home. After weeks of speculation and lightning-charged rumours, the rock ‘n’ roll titans have announced a string of Australian tour dates for later this year, electrifying fans with shows locked in for Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and a final blowout in Brisbane. AC/DC will be supported by Amyl and the Sniffers at all shows.

Formed in Sydney back in 1973, AC/DC forged their legacy from sweat, riffs and pure voltage. Their signature blend of hard rock, blues grit and heavy metal crunch helped light the fuse for the new wave of British heavy metal and scorched a path few have matched since.

Despite decades of lineup shifts and personal loss, the band have remained a relentless force. From Bon Scott’s raspy snarl to Brian Johnson’s banshee wail, their sound has never lost its bite. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 and with over 200 million records sold worldwide, AC/DC stand among the best-selling — and loudest — bands of all time.

Now, they’re back to do what they do best: shake stadiums to their foundations and remind the country where this juggernaut began.

AC/DC 2025 Australian Tour with Amyl and the Sniffers
Wednesday 12 November – Melbourne Cricket Ground
Friday 21 November – Sydney Accor Stadium
Sunday 30 November – Adelaide bp Adelaide Grand Final
Thursday 4 December – Perth Optus Stadium
Sunday 14 December – Brisbane Suncorp Stadium
