News: Dublin Indie-Folk Artist Isidore Unveils Buoyant New Single ‘No Time, All The Time’

Emerging Dublin solo artist Isidore has released his latest single ‘No Time, All The Time’, a track that fuses jangly indie-pop charm with singer-songwriter introspection, showcasing the growing range and emotional nuance of the 23-year-old Clondalkin native.

Under the name Isidore, Conor Fagan delivers a sound that feels at once familiar and distinct—bright, melodic guitars shimmer over tight, boxy drums and grounding bass, while an unexpected glockenspiel dances delicately through the main riff. But what elevates ‘No Time, All The Time’ beyond typical indie fare is its emotional counterweight: yearning, Dylan-esque vocal melodies that give the track a deeper, melancholic resonance.

Speaking about the track, Conor explains: “It’s a song about longing, in this case, for time or for love, both just out of reach. There’s a sort of quiet frustration in knowing something is right there, yet still feeling unable to hold on to it. The opening lyric, ‘I saw the sunlight through the window’, really sums it up for me; the idea of being able to see and feel something so clearly, but never quite grasp it due to some invisible barrier. I think the frantic vocal delivery reflects that desperation; like trying to cling to a moment or a person before they slip away.”

Blending the storytelling sensibility of folk with the textural layering and rhythmic verve of indie and alt-pop, Isidore situates himself in a sonic lane adjacent to artists like The Strokes, The National, and of course, Bob Dylan. It’s a space where melody meets meaning—where catchy doesn’t have to come at the cost of vulnerability.

Since launching the Isidore project, Fagan has quietly built a reputation for thoughtful, emotionally charged songwriting, earning airplay on RTE, Raidió na Life, and Dublin City FM. His live résumé is growing too, with performances at Ireland Music Week and coveted support slots for the likes of Thomas Hingley and Frowning Hours at Whelan’s.
