News: Laneway Festival 2027 adds a dozen sideshows across Australia

Laneway Festival 2027 is giving fans another reason to clear their February calendars, announcing its final wave of sideshows with a formidable lineup of international artists heading to Sydney and Melbourne.

From Grammy-winning pop provocateur Kim Petras and rising star ADÉLA to Dublin post-punk outfit Gurriers and digicore trailblazer Jane Remover, the latest announcement offers the chance to catch some of the festival’s biggest drawcards in considerably more intimate surroundings.

Kim Petras leads the charge, bringing her unapologetic pop spectacle to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on 15 February and Melbourne’s Forum on 18 February. The German singer arrives following the release of Detour, adding another chapter to a career that has taken her from underground pop favourite to Grammy winner.

ADÉLA is another name attracting serious attention. Fresh from sold-out tours across North America and Europe, the Slovak pop artist brings her dance-heavy live show to the Enmore Theatre on 11 February and Melbourne’s Forum on 15 February.

There’s plenty for guitar fans too. Irish post-punk outfits Gurriers and Bleech 9:3 are heading our way, alongside fellow Irish rockers Florence Road, whose alternative rock draws comparisons with The Cranberries. Gurriers hit Sydney’s Factory Theatre on 16 February, while Bleech 9:3 make their Australian debut at Oxford Art Factory the same night.

On the electronic front, PC Music co-founder Danny L Harle brings his new album Cerulean to Sydney’s Metro Theatre on 16 February, while Berlin’s horsegiirL returns with a new live show built around her debut album nature is healing.

Jane Remover, meanwhile, takes their boundary-pushing digital pop on the road with the Live Exhibit Tour, including a Sydney Metro Theatre appearance on 14 February. LA rapper and producer rommulas and hyperpop artist Tiffany Day also make their Australian debuts.

Two-time BRIT Award nominee Rachel Chinouriri brings her indie-pop to the Enmore Theatre, while 20-year-old Violet Grohl steps out with her own brand of noisy alternative rock, playing Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Night Cat.

With Laneway already boasting a lineup that includes Fontaines D.C., The Hayley Williams Show and MUNA, these sideshows give fans the chance to get closer to the artists without navigating a festival crowd.
