Sydney, get ready for a date with music royalty. Diana Ross is returning to the Harbour City for the first time in more than two decades, announcing an exclusive Australian performance at Centennial Park on Friday 5 March 2027.
The legendary singer will headline the Sydney Summertime concert series with Diana Ross Freedom in Motion, a one-night-only event taking place on the eve of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.
And there’s another reason to get excited. British electronic heavyweights Groove Armada will join the bill for an exclusive Australian DJ set, with further special guests still to be announced.
Few performers can claim a legacy quite like Ross. As the unmistakable voice of The Supremes, she helped define the sound of Motown, delivering classics including Baby Love, Stop! In the Name of Love and You Can’t Hurry Love before embarking on a solo career that produced Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, I’m Coming Out and Upside Down.
More than six decades into her career, Ross remains one of pop music’s most influential figures, her songs continuing to fill dancefloors and inspire generations of artists.
Presented by Black Peach Touring, the concert promises a rare opportunity to catch one of music’s genuine icons in Sydney, with Groove Armada adding a serious dose of dancefloor energy to proceedings.
