Rising solo artist Andro is making waves once again with the release of his intoxicating new single ‘Ghost’ via Endowed Music Records. Taken from his upcoming EP Broken Limerence, due September 27, the track showcases the emotive blend of 80s-inspired pop and neo-soul that has quickly become his signature sound.
Since stepping out as a solo artist, Andro has been steadily building a reputation as one to watch. Previously known as a vocalist with Jungle, where he spent over seven years performing at Glastonbury, Coachella, Alexandra Palace and appearing on shows such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Later… with Jools Holland, he has since earned acclaim in his own right. National radio support, coverage in titles like Wonderland, Clash and Atwood, and his recognition as a beneficiary of PRS Foundation’s POWER UP platform have only solidified his standing.
‘Ghost’ arrives as a shimmering, late-night anthem that combines cinematic production with intimate storytelling. Co-produced by Andro alongside Rusty Bradshaw (Florence + the Machine) and Rebecca Le Montais (Yungblud), the track pairs radiant synth textures with live instrumentation, weaving in soaring melodies, vocal runs and layered harmonies.
At its heart, ‘Ghost’ captures the bittersweet feeling of a fleeting romance. Andro explains: “Ghost is about when you meet someone hot, and have a passionate night together and think they’re ‘the one’ but then they ghost you. And vice versa.” It’s an experience at once deeply personal and universally relatable, elevated by the song’s sweeping production.
The single is the first taste of Broken Limerence, an EP that promises to expand on Andro’s distinctive sound — one rooted in nostalgia but pushing firmly forward.
