Sharon Van Etten has announced that she will be bringing her ‘Darkness Fades’ tour to Australia and New Zealand later this year.

The brilliant singer and songwriter, who released her much praised album ‘We’ve Been Going About This All Wrong’ earlier this year, made the announcement via her Instagram account. The tour is long overdue since her last visit to Australian shores was in 2019.

Van Etten will be playing the Meredith Festival as well as dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Fremantle. At the Brisbane and Melbourne shows, Van Etten will be supported by Batts, with whom she collaborated on the single ‘Blue’. At the Fremantle show, the support act will be Banjo Lucia.
