News: Beartooth Announce New Album Details

Hardcore band Beartooth have announced details about their forthcoming album Aggressive out June 3rd 2016.

Front man Caleb Shomo wrote and recorded the new album at his home studio, with a little song writing help from John Feldmann (Blink 182, The Used) whilst David Bendeth (Killswitch Engage, Paramore) was drafted in to mix the album.

Following on from the band’s debut album Disgusting, the first offering from Aggressive- the title track, sees the band maturing their sound with even more banging metalcore and punk infused screamo while still maintaining the catchy choruses and breakdowns that we’re used to. The second preview from the new album was played last night (24/04) on Dan P Carter’s Rock Show on BBC Radio 1 as the “Rockest Record”. You can listen back to the show here. The track is titled Always Dead and Shomo describes it as a “heavy hitter” and mentions that it follows on from track Dead from the first album. Will this band ever not write a belting chorus??

Since Disgusting came out in 2014, the band have not stopped growing. They’ve toured the world numerous times, played alongside the likes of Bring Me The Horizon and Slipknot and have 10 million plays on YouTube. They are currently embarking on a headline tour of America but return to British shores in June playing the Lemmy Stage at Download Festival with more dates to be announced soon!

The video for Aggressive also dropped this week, check it out below!
